Apple is working on various smartphone projects in the iPhone 16 series to launch later in the year. Additionally, the company is fast-tracking its AI efforts with the iOS 18 update. Now, the smallest iPhone in Apple's repertoire, the iPhone SE 4, which is set to hit shelves in 2025, is set to get some fancy new technology. Although the release of the next-gen iPhone SE is far away, leaks have already started to emerge. However, the current leak will surprise you as the iPhone SE 4 is expected to get flagship features with an iPhone 16-like design. See what Apple plans to bring to the mid-range market.

iPhone SE 4 Features

As we know, the Apple iPhone SE series comes in the budget range and hence, has slightly lower specs and features than the main-stream iPhone models. However, with the iPhone SE 4, the company may have bigger plans. According to tipster @MajinBuOfficial X Post, the new generation of iPhone SE may feature the Dynamic Island available on the iPhone 14 Pro models and the entire iPhone 15 series. Earlier, the iPhone was rumored to come with a camera notch, but Apple seems to have changed its plans.

The tipster revealed that the iPhone SE 4 could come with a vertical rear camera setup, which is also rumored for the iPhone 16 base model. “The iPhone SE will have a similar design to the current iPhone 16, which is still in development,” the post said.

However, the iPhone SE 4 may have only one camera sensor with an LED flashlight in a pill-shaped setup. The source also said the rumor was unconfirmed but a speculative change. Furthermore, the tipster added that the iPhone SE 4's dimensions will be identical to the iPhone XR model.

Note that the above mentioned upgrades of iPhone SE 4 are based on leaks and speculations and what will be finally launched may be very different. The launch of the new iPhone SE is a year away, and it's too early to make any concrete predictions.
